the last week of may

1. Lumix & Camomile tea 2. Tatty Devine mini records earrings
3. Decorations on old iPhone by my niece 4. Trip to the Past mug

1. Orange Days dvd 2. Birthday
3. Niece trying to be photographer 4. Out for breakfast

The days are flipping by real fast nowadays and before i realised, it’s almost June. These
past five months have been quite uneventful... well, maybe not exactly... there is actually
something that i would want to remember but shall leave that to myself for the time being.

Waiting for end August to come. By then, i should have completed an on-going project and
might be able to go for a long vacation after that :)

hello beautiful monday

Heart working from home

Breakfast at Home vs Agency Work Desk
Coffee from Marimekko Mug vs Styrofoam Cup
Breeze from the Window vs Air-conditioning
Out of Bed Hair vs Glamourous Hair
...ok that’s a bit far stretch since i’ve never had glamorous hairstyle before
(and of course) Blogging vs WIP Meeting
...
the list goes on
...

saturday

5.30am. Woke up with a really weird dream. Jog. Breakfast. Blog. Lunch. Work.
Online palm reading (imagine how bored i was). Tea break. Watched Orange Days dvd.
Dinner. Watched telly. Blog again (now).

Am going back to watching Orange Days right after this. What an uneventful Saturday.

These are two of my favourite filters from Instagram – earlybird and 1977. They can make even the ugliest photo turned out looking good.

queen of absentminded

(Last week) on the bus, i jolted out of my seat thinking that i have missed my stop only to
realise that i have alighted one stop earlier instead; (Several occasions) Out from the lift
and started walking towards the opposite direction when i was intending to go the other way;
(This morning) woke up early to go for yoga class and realised i didn’t bring my yoga pants
when i reached...so i ended up having a cup of tea and came back home.

i wonder what’s next?

My mind is too pre-occupied (or busy daydreaming?) these days i don’t know what other
silly things i might be capable of doing. Also i haven’t been sleeping well at night because
my mind just refused to stop thinking... it’s so frustrating. Arrrgghhh!

dessert makes one happy

Some Anderson’s chocolate chips mint ice cream on a hot day.

Durian puree and hot tea from Ellenborough Market Café.
Strange as it sounds, it was actually quite good.

Mango pudding, Sumiyaki coffee jelly and green tea with red bean ice cream from Watami.

A pre-birthday cake from Bakerzin.

Date pudding and apple crumble from Artichoke Cafe & Bar.

Have you had your desserts today?

no more walks

There is this short stretch of walk from my place that leads to the nearby shops and mrt
station. i’ve mentioned it a few times here before and taken numerous pictures of it for
the past few years.

During my walks, i love looking up at the sky through the leaves; taking deep breaths;
walking on the uneven ground that is filled with huge tree roots; feeling as if i’m living
amongst the nature.

The huge trees provide shades from the scorching sun, but yet allowing bits of sunlight to
past through, kissing lightly on the skin. During certain months of the year, the ground will
be filled with dried golden leaves. Sometimes a breeze causes the leaves on the ground to stir
lightly, looking as though they were dancing in the wind.

But all these has become a memory of the past.
Now my walk has been reduced to this:

Sad max :(

They’ve chopped down all the trees (murderer!). Very soon the whole area will be filled
up with high rise buildings (yet again).

♥ he met her and she met him ♥

... that’s the line on the cover of the wedding invitation card. How sweet is that?
Here are some photos from the lovely wedding yesterday :)

Beautiful centre piece on every table.

Solemnisation.

Here comes the lovely couple :)

There was never a dull moment during the wedding banquet. i especially like the song that
Stef wrote and sang for Nadim (that lucky guy!), it was very touching. Well of cos, Nadim’s
Stand By Me was as touching... and entertaining too lol! It was really brave of him to sing
LIVE in front of everyone (for those who were present, you know what i mean lol).

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs van der Ros :)
